I don’t know what is worse…

The time I ate from the peanut butter jar that my mom had been using to mix dog food with…or right now when I picked up my water bottle and took a big gulp of it without looking…only realize that it DID NOT look like water when I actually took a glance at the bottle. 

What I saw in it was a muddy, cloudy mixture of phlegm mixed with chunks of something. 

My fiance had used the bottle to hack into when I wasn’t around/noticing.

I only threw up a little…still waiting to get the rest out.

I also drank about a cup of Listerine.

So, I work at wegmans as a dishwasher. Mostly, the job sucks, but today made my week.
I’m standing in the dishroom, it’s a pretty slow day. K walks in, her face bright red. This girl is as pure and innocent as someone over the age of 18 can be. She looks at me and says, “Gil, you would not believe what someone just tried to order from catering.” I ask what, and she tells me, “This guy, he asks me if I can fill out an order for him, and I told him that the catering guys had gone home, and he said, ‘it doesn’t seem like anyone’s up to the challenge’ and he tells me he wants a cake, shaped….” she leans in real close, so nobody else could hear, “….like a dick.”
I burst out laughing. But it gets better. She got all flustered and transferred him to bakery, where he gives the whole spiel all over again, but more detailed. He wanted it 30 inches tall, filled with “so much cream that when you cut into it, it bursts out” and hairy balls, the veins and the whole shebang. I’m sad they aren’t making it, because that would be the funniest cake I’ve ever seen.

With seeing some current gender bend images of canon male characters, I got to thinking about the fans’ reactions to gender bends a lot.

When I write this, I am talking about fandom in general. It’s all stuff that I have noticed in the Kuroshitsuji, Hetalia, Team Fortress 2, and the Homestuck fandom

Even though I don’t follow a lot of fandoms, like Homestuck, I always see what’s going on between fans’ interaction due to Tumblr and the way it works.

The fandoms I mentioned are heavily influenced with a love for yaoi/gay fanart and fic. Whenever there is a post that gender bends the male characters to somewhat sexual females (I’m talking about design), there’s always a lot of rage and people going off about how sexist and inaccurate it is. For that line I am thinking TF2. A lot of people say, “YOU CAN’T FIGHT IN HEELS!”

However, I have seen more pictures than I can count of one of the TF2 canon male desings in slutty outfits…and yes, EVEN wearing heels!

Whenever a picture like that goes around though, it gets nothing but praise along with comments of, “Oh so sexy!”

Don’t you see this double standard here? In fandom in general, there are always lots of yaoi fanarts of guys doing sexual acts with one another, some that most people would find degrading, but most fans don’t say a word negatively about it.

The moment someone gender bends a character though and draws them with huge tits and being fucked up the ass? Well, you can be sure that is very sexist of you, and you are a horrible person for drawing a woman dressed like that and doing such acts!

Just remember, drawing a huge penis on a character is ≠ drawing huge breasts on the same character but of a different gender.

IT IS GLORIOUS.

Eh, I guess. It always comes to a surprise to A LOT of people when I tell them I used to draw oc’s AND had a webcomic. One girl became OBSESSED with two of the characters and started to draw her own comics of them for.her.school.newspaper (mind you, the plot of my comic was a comedy about killing yourself, too). She then put them online (this was way back when geocities still existed). She claimed they were her own, etc.

When I confronted her about it, her defense was, “Well I draw the comics faster than you do, so the characters should belong to me.” :|

Then my ex….she did a lot of fanart of the comic. I wondered if it was just because she “loved” me (but what we had wasn’t love, however, we won’t get into that), but it turned out not to be. We have been broken up for 5 years now, and she still has her fanart online and on her LJ.

I have also lost track of how many times my fiance has bugged me to start up the comic again, too.

Yeah, I know, “Ohhh so dark and edgy. You are so cool~” This is from 7 years ago…before you were cool and in on the Internet to call everything “dark and edgy” as a mock. There are reasons why I won’t continue to draw these today.
